Life is full of surprises.
Life is full of disappoints.
Do we get any redos?
Maybe a couple if we are lucky.
Who decides how many though?
Is it you?
It is me?
Or is it plain old fate?
Or maybe just dumb luck?
Sometimes there are things we wish for in life.
Sometimes we can have these things.
Sometimes we simply cannot.
Is that fate, dumb luck, or choices we made?
Some are all of the above and some are none.
Sometimes we get a second chance.
Sometimes a third or even a few more.
How many can we expect?
Are they ever guaranteed?
When do they end?
Blessed are we who are given more.
Damned are we who have let them pass bye.
Our choices in life make our lives fulfilled.
Our choices in life leave our lives unfulfilled.
Chances come and then suddenly they are done.
Take the chance on what you desire.
Or just sit back and watch them go bye.
Maybe there will be another.
Sooner than later there won’t be another.
Chances are that chances end much sooner than we want.
We do not get to pick the time or the place of the chance.
When it is there we either seize it or let it pass bye again.
Soon the chances will end.
And we will be left to wonder why we never took the chance.
We just let chance after chances go on bye.
Chances are chances almost gone.
Or maybe the chances are gone now.
Do we dare chance letting it go bye yet again?
