Here again….

Here again….

Wow, I am lost but yet surrounded by familiar things.
I am lost but am comfortable where I am.
I have been here before.
Been here too many times in fact.
Livin life the only way I know how.
Still ending up back where I started.
I started here long ago and the journey.
The journey seems to come right back to familiar grounds.
Grounds I have walked before.
Familiar steps taken yet once again.
They lead me back again.
Back to begin where I always seem to begin.
The road can be so different but it always leads here.
Always brings me back to start again.
Here, here in this familiar place again.
It is neither sad not happy.
Just a place I end up.
I often feel lost when I return.
I thought for sure that I had left it behind.
Behind me forever this time but
yet again I find my way right back here.
Looking in the mirror I see I have aged each time but still…
still the road leads me here again.
Is it my fate to only go round and round?
Or is my destiny yet to be found?
Life goes on and on.
I go round and round.
Round and round.
Till I am back here again.
