lonely road
just a walkin after midnight on the lonely road
no where to go but to follow the road.
hoping to see something out there for me
something that looks familiar
maybe something I loved once
maybe something I love still
all I can do is walk down the road
knowing that its past midnight
soon the sun will rise again
and I can see, see much further then
will it lead me to a place I know
or is it just a lonely road.
that is gonna take me far from home
lead me to places that I just don’t know
I just wont know till the sun rises again
and I can see further then
walkin in the dark I am
praying that it will belight soon
that I will find, find my home again
find my love again
find it all, find it all
on this lonely road I am on
