All over again

It seems so long ago.
Long ago we were so young.
We were just havin fun.
You asked me to dance.
I said yes despite the fact I couldn’t dance.
In the crowd I hid my moves.
And probably pulled a muscle or two.
It began so innocently.
And turned into something long lasting.
A love for then.
A love for now.
A love for many tomorrows.
Yes, it started way back then.
We are different now.
But yet our love only grows more.
You are you.
I am me.
Very different in so many ways.
Yet at the end of the day.
I would do it all again.
I simply can’t imagine.
A day without my best friend.
If I need to cry.
It is your shoulder I turn too.
If I have a funny story.
You are the first I wish to tell.
Nothing would be the same without you.
It is you and I till the very end.
