I am spinning like a top.
Round and round.
Just trying not to fall down.
Round and round I spin.

Life goes one way and I go the other.
Wow, there it goes again.
Life is flying right on by me.
Slow down World, spin my way.

No, not going to spin my way.

World goes on and on.
Stop my spin and turn it around.

Spun the wrong way for way too long.

Now though I spin with the World.
Same speed and it looks so bright.
Not blurry but a wonderful sight.
Not trying to catch up anymore.

Just keeping pace with time.

Right on time.
Darkness gone, left on the reverse.

Going forward now and it doesn’t hurt.
The World will rip you apart if spin opposite.
